Changes to our delivery policy – from MyHermes to Royal Mail


Based on feedback from our customers and experience, we have revised and upgraded our delivery service.

From now on, we shall be using Royal Mail for all our deliveries, instead of MyHermes.

We wish to provide a more reliable and trusted service for our customers, and we feel that Royal Mail is the main choice for our courier requirements that can meet and exceed our expectations. Several customers have asked for a next day delivery option, which Special Delivery would allow us to provide.

Due to the increased cost of this service, but for more peace of mind and a faster response time, we shall be adding charges to all our products under £80 to reflect the cost of delivery. Any order over £80 will still have delivery inclusive, with Royal Mail Special Delivery now the desired option.

To summarise:

  • New delivery service provider: Royal Mail
  • New £4.99 Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded return service for small orders under £80
  • New £9.99 Royal Mail Special Delivery recorded and tracked return service for all orders – included as FREE on orders over £80.

Changes will not affect any of our current customers, and we shall honour their included free delivery.

Please note, that use of Special Delivery does not mean we shall get your photos and send them out the next day! This is for when the scanning is completed and we are ready to return your photos. For example, a large order of negatives (1500+ or more) would still take on average 3-4 weeks to process, then once completed, Special Delivery will be used to return your photos as soon as the day after we have finished the order.
